We know that, as an SME or a self-employed professional, your priority is to dedicate time to your business, not to worry about paperwork or new regulations. That’s why at Kydemy we are actively working to incorporate VeriFactu into our management software. Although the implementation has been delayed (the Tax Office has announced that the deadline will be extended until January or July 2027, depending on whether you are a company or self-employed), we are continuing to work towards having it available in the first quarter of 2026, so that you can adapt in good time and without complications.

What is VeriFactu?

VeriFactu is the new system introduced by the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) to ensure that invoicing software records and, where applicable, automatically sends invoices to the Tax Authority in a complete, traceable, and tamper-proof manner.

This integration applies only to clients with a tax residence in Spain who use Kydemy as their invoicing system.

What does this mean for you?

Quite simply: when the regulation comes into force, your management software must be able to generate invoices in a specific format and, if you choose to activate it, send them directly to HMRC through the VeriFactu system.

At Kydemy we’ve been helping our clients manage their finances easily and efficiently for years. And now we are adapting our software to be fully compliant with VeriFactu from day one.
